Awe Early Literacy Station

Located in the Childrens Area of the library, our new and improved AWE Early Literacy Station is an engaging, educational resource computer loaded with more than 70 award-winning software titles, and more than 4,000 learning activities for kids ages 2-8. Full of colorful and interesting sounds, the AWE Early Literacy StationTM is a great resource for young minds.

New to our updated station are STREAM-aligned (science, technology, reading, engineering, art and music) content featuring: cyber safety with Garfield, e-books, coding, handwriting, and so much more.

AWE Station.jpegThe Early Learning Station offers children a safe, standalone computer not connected to the Internet that is age-appropriate, interactive, and academically relevant for early literacy skills. It is designed to support school readiness and early education while making learning exciting and fun.

 

We recommend only two children at the computer at one time.

Awe Tablet.jpegThe AWE Learning Tablet can be checked out at the circulation desk. This tablet, similar to our AWE Early Literacy Station, is an award-winning and interactive educational resource for children. This tablet is pre-loaded with 70 plus STREAM-aligned (science, technology, reading, engineering, arts, and music) games and books. This tablet offers safe, age-appropriate learning for young children. This tablet is not connected to the Internet. 

The tablet will have a one-week check-out period. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult to check out the AWE tablet.
