Projects for Summer Program Underway
Making dream catchers similar to the ones being held by Adam and Devon is part of the plan for those joining our 1st-4th grade summer program, “Dream Big”.
Other projects are also in the works. They include making a glow-in-the-dark bug jar, a “personal” constellation, and a shadow puppet theater --- complete with shadow puppets.
Making lots of projects for the children’s “Dream Big” program this summer requires quite a few supplies. Here’s a list of items we will need in order to complete them: shoe boxes or large cereal boxes (we need at least 35), light switch cover plates, clear plastic peanut of mayo jars, ¼”- 1/2” wide satin ribbon (any color), pony beads, craft feathers, plastic headbands (20 or more), googly eyes, red licorice, candy corn, and mini marshmallows. If you would be willing to donate any of these items, we would appreciate it. Donations should be deposited in the library drop box or brought to the library by June 6. Thanks!
